Alan Sartori  mentored this young man obviously some years ago now when he had cystic fibrosis and had a successful Lung transplant -

 

Steven spoke at our club to raise awareness about cystic fibrosis and he had set up a trust fund to provide accommodation for families  on the waiting list for transplants.

 

Alan bought him a suit and helped him make Rotary connections.

 

Steven also competed  in the New Year Murray Marathon (albeit with a very strong medical and other support team)

 

He made a lasting impression on many, especially our members of that time.
