Mark's Remarks 5

I can't  believe almost one month of the year has gone.  We were advised at President  Elect's  training
to plan and organize early so that the club is ready from the start of the year.

That is certainly the best advice for any incoming president but as any past president would know it's easier said than done.

We are on track though, to "Hit the ground running".  Our international subcommittee chairman Tony Bramley is working around the clock to prepare a matching grant application to Foundation for our nursing training facility in Tanzania. We have our first fundraising effort on Saturday at Bunnings Mill park, we are starting to organize a fellowship meeting for late August , the Ear, Eye and Spinal Checks assessment day is being organized for September and we are planning a theatre night in late September or  early October .

All we need to make these events a success is your support. I would urge everyone to make a special effort to support these initial events.
