The Guest Speaker for the morning was The Hon Harry Jenkins whose presentation entitled  "From Federal Parliament to Citizen Harry - a Journey of 34 years in politics" was both enlightening and entertaining.

I am taking this opportunity to report back to all clubs on the success of our recent Movie Night that was held to raise funds for The Rotary Foundation.

More than 15 clubs participated in the event and rated the film 9/10. So it was well attended and thoroughly enjoyed. Clubs joined together to arrange the screening and met afterwards for a meal together.

I am please to report that $15,766 was raised for End Polio Now. By adding the Bill and Melinda Gates matching contribution that makes a total of $47,298.

Congratulation to all clubs involved.

On behalf of The Rotary Foundation and the needy of the world I say thank you. You are making a significant difference
