The Board and Members recently accepted resignation notices from Francis Acquah and Veronica Kioria. Both have indicated that they will be joining other clubs.

This letter from Francis expresses appreciation to the Club and Members:

TO THE PRESIDENT AND THE BOARD OF THE ROTARY CLUB OF GREENSBOROUGH.

I wish to offer my resignation from the Rotary Club of Greensborough as of 30 June 2018, as due to work commitments I am unable to fulfil my attendance to Monday lunchtime meetings.

I will like to take this opportunity to thank David Ling for his guidance, support and assistance throughout my entire period with the Rotary Club of Greensborough. Thank you to Jerome Winston, my mentor of many, many years. I will to say a special thanks to Joy Ferguson, for her inspiration and amazing work.

In a small reflection, I thank the entire membership of the Rotary Club of Greensborough for allowing us to experiment to increase our diversity, which increased our female membership and reduced our average age group. I thank you the board for giving the club the opportunity to undertake some District grants activities, both locally and international. Our support for such projects as
the DVLC and Kalparrin has made true differences. Our support for RYLA was of value, I saw one of our sponsored young ladies, Monica Forson, speak at an event, and I felt proud that RCG helped to transform her abilities.

A recent visit to the Donation in Kind warehouse in Footscray suggested that through my personal introduction, no fewer than 10 containers were shipped to Africa.
I am also aware that the opportunities given to me by RCG have also brought a number of friends
and associates into the family of Rotary.

I am pleased to report that I am not leaving Rotary fellowship completely, but rather will be joining the Rotary Club of Epping, which meets on Wednesday evenings and fortnightly.

Once again thank you all and friendships built will continue.

Yours in Rotary,
Francis Roger Acquah.
