Our club contributed $250 together with a personal donation from Nalin of $250 in helping young James
As an update today I went to meeting of key professionals to discuss the young grade 6 boy (James) you have contributed finance towards the cost of this program.
At this meeting the single mother (who struggles a lot with anxiety) made it clear her son, has told her, he will not be returning to school till 2014 even though he has not attended school since Term 2
Open House has a commitment that if parent is financially challenge the child will not suffer or be excluded, it is the main reason that Senior Constable Annette Strachan (Greensborough Police) asked our help to help this child that stays home 24/6 the support from Greensborough Rotary has been perfect timing.
The grade 6 boy you have sponsored was referred from Annette, he is a good child he attends our program Monday, all day Wednesday and a specialized session for him only. His mother is over protective of her son not allowing him to leave her unit for any reason e.g to play with his friends. She has allowed him to attend only Open House programs - Boys2Men and Back2School programs
