What a great response we had to our Movie night last Thursday.
The Rotary initiative to raise funds for the "End Polio Now" program was indeed a great idea which came to fruition for us.
With a total of 221 people attending from clubs such as Kinglake Ranges, Whittlesea, Diamond Creek, Greensborough Central, Bundoora, Rosanna, Ivanhoe, Rotaract  and of course our club.
The Raffle prizes were donated by Hoyts Groups, 2 Lux tickets and 3 Hoyts double passes together with a DVD of the first Marigold Hotel Movie donated by Christine Shields.
The Raffle raised $693 with a big thanks to the Diamond Valley Rotaractors who sold to all our guests.
Great to see and catch up with some of our past members and long standing friends, Mark and Christine Sefton, Denise and Graeme Knorr, Ray & Larraine Davies, Ray & Gayle Lord and Pam Fallon.
A fantastic total of $1878.50 being raised for the End Polio Now Program.
Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is contributing $2 for every $ raised by Rotary.  This event would then be responsible for raising the grand total of  $5635.00.
Huge thank you to everyone who contributed to this success.
