Final report for SMG Educational Equipment School of Nursing at Berega (SONAB) Tanzania.

I wish to confirm that $ 8000 AUD less transfer costs of $ 30 AUD resulted in Tanzanian Shillings Ts. 11, 494, 479.65/= being made available in SONAB’s account and has been fully expended.

This money has been spent on the purchase of Educational Equipment to support the School in its second year of operation. Tables and Chairs have been made some from pit sawn timber and some from welded steel. White boards have been purchased and fixed in three classrooms. A small solar power lighting system has been installed in the Demonstration skills classroom. The classroom was built from funds raised by the Rotary Club of Greensborough. The Demonstration/Skills equipment was funded by Inner Wheel District A61. Three laptops were purchased and added to 4 already in the Schools possession, so that student teams may use them in banks of seven. There are sixteen students at present with the next intake bringing numbers to forty six.

I have inspected the School and can verify that all is in order. I have taken photos of the Principal Mr. John Pugh and the students and the Educational Equipment. John expressed his gratitude on behalf of the students. All invoices have been sighted and made available to me and I will deliver them in mid October when I return. Likewise I will deliver photos at the same time.

Rec. The report be received.

Yours in Rotary,

PP Rt Tony Bramley
