Last week Matthew Guy, served up a great talk from the eyes of a politician without crossing the "Non Political" lines of Rotary policy.
Matthew was made the Shadow Minister for Planning following his election to parliament in 2006 and he spoke and answered questions from this perspective.

PP Ron Myerscough, physician and friend to the family for many years, was Chairman for the day and introduced Matthew in glowing terms. Joan Myerscough was also a welcome guest for the day.
Speaking of long term needs Matthew emphasised the need for greater density in urban areas and increased infrustructure and transport for the growth corridors of the rapidly growing Melbourne area.
The need for future vision, said Matthew, is a major challenge to all polical parties and Governments.
Question time indicated the keen interest of the listeners and opened up further areas of comment.
