Our last meeting was a smaller meeting with only 14 members attending but we were treated to a passionate presentation by Trudy Gouge from the Flowerdale CFA. It was a timely reminder that the physical and emotional recovery from the recent bushfires is far from over. Everyone said at the time that we must give the bushfire survivors support for the long term but it appears that is not happening in some areas.

Please put a note in your calendars  for our November 10 Meeting. Our club has pulled off a coup by having Bruce Allen and Maria give us a presentation on Rotary foundation - as  far as rotary foundation is concerned there is almost no one higher in Australia - To have him give our club a presentation on the work of TheRotary Foundation is not to be missed - I am sure even long standing members will be impressed by his presentation and it is also a very good opportunity to bring along any friend or colleague The rotary foundation is Rotary's charity and is the part of Rotary that takes on the huge worldwide challenges like Polio Plus.

Please make a special effort to attend and bring a friend. It is important for our club to be well represented on the day .
