A beautiful sunny afternoon at the Heidelberg Golf Club saw 57 people (and 2 children) attend the “Mad Hatters High Tea Party” on the 29th October.

Guests included members of the Banyule Council, together with Rotary members, friends and family.

The event was organised by the club’s Fellowship and Fundraising Committee, led by President Elect Zilis Hardiman.
Many of the guests got into the spirit of the event by donning fun hats. Prizes were presented to 8 of the guests for their originality and fun.

Guests were entertained by our guest speaker Dr. Bernie Crimmins with a great presentation highlighting the issues of mens’ health, with messages for women as well.

As per usual the raffle held on the day netted $335 and the final total for the event was approximately $1200.

MC Bill Carter managed proceedings in excellent style as usual.

President Michael extended thanks with a presentation bottle of wine to our guest speaker, the Fellowship and Fundraising Committee were acknowledged and thanks were extended to the staff of the Heidelberg Golf Club.
