The Rotary Club of Greensborough is proud to have sponsored the Upton and Gillespie Awards for a continuous period of 36 years. 
In honour of the memory of two of its Charter members who gave outstanding service to the community, particularly its young people, they are given to students one for each year 7 to 12 inclusive at both Greensborough Secondary College and Montmorency Secondary College.
These awards relate to not only scholastic excellence but also to the participation of the awardees in College programs and events including activities within the community. In effect the manifestation of leadership qualities.
