Gillespie and Upton Awards
Last week our Club was again privileged to host the prestigious Gillespie and Upton Awards for the Greensborough College and the Montmorency Secondary College.
The students presented demonstrated an extremely high standard of all round commitment to academia, leadership abilities and school and community involvement.
Approx fifty people attended, including students, teaching staff from both colleges, parents and Rotarians.
Thank you to the George Lim, Zilis Hardiman, Sandra Classon, Tony Bramley and Christine Shields for their help in setting up, directing the guests and collecting the correct monies for meals. The club paid for the students meals and 2 teaching staff from each school.
Each student received a signed laminated certificate with a copy their citation on the back together with a book gift voucher for $100.
