Hi to all Members
Another week, another interesting speaker at our meeting. Councillor Tom Melican stepped in at the last moment for a very sick Mayor, Councillor Peter Mc Kenna. Tom spoke about the Greensborough Project and together with his power point presentation it was an extremely informative session. We have excellent, committed Councillors in Banyule City and we thank them all for their continued service .
Bill Carter thanked our speaker in his usual inimitable
manner.
Paul and Dawn Craig have gone on holidays for a well earned rest, we wish them a safe an happy time.
Our Board Meeting was last night, and you will all receive details of the meeting in the next few days. All Board Members are bringing their committee programmes forward for discussion and action. Many thanks to our Board, Committee Chairmen and their committee members. The Year will be a success.
Ray Davies is looking for an influx of new members with his programme of “Get off your ASK “ to achieve growth for our Club.
Next week Zilis and I will be in FIJI for a short break and our IPP Mark Leverett will be in the Presidents Chair once again and will also be the Guest Speaker. Thanks Mark.
