From President John No 5

                          What a busy Meeting last week, starting with the Induction of Andrew Minahan, and the professionalism of John Mackey, Paul Craig and David Ling in the Ceremony was most appreciated. We look forward to Andrew contributing to our Club, his  skills and most of all his youth.

I have been remiss in not mentioning the great work Graham Trotter does each week in helping to set up for our meeting and his cheery greeting when we all arrive. Also thank you Graham for visiting Les Bedford.

Our speaker from The Ombudsmans Office certainly gave us an excellent overview of the work done by this Office. Jessica Downey was dynamic in her talk and the participation of members with questions certainly made her visit special. Jessica’s Parents were also present and as they have never heard her talk in public they were suitably impressed.

Thanks also to our other guests for coming and we hope to see more of them in the future. They were Pam Fallon,Tony Carmusciano and Christine Shields.
