Hi to all Members,

                          Our meeting last week was again well attended.Please invite any of your friends to our meetings, as it does add to our fellowship, and there is always the chance we may attract new members if they enjoy themselves.

Bill Carter is a demanding chairman, and the meeting was very well controlled. We heard from Dr.Ron Myerscough a brief report on Thailand, followed by an outline by Zilis Hardiman ( on behalf of Mark Sefton) of our Fund Raising programme for the coming year. David Ling was next to continue our learning curve about Club Runner and how to use it. Hopefully we can have more of these sessions to broaden our knowledge, thanks David.

The Main Speaker on this day was Rot.Nalin Perera. His subject was “Why I came to Australia”.  Not only informative, but probably one of the most humerous talks many of us have heard. As this was only one chapter in his life, the audience are asking to hear further chapters. Thank you Nalin, for a great talk and we look forward to the next Chapter.

This week we have a number of guests coming to listen to our speaker from The Ombudsman’s Office, and to witness the Induction of our new member Mr.Andrew Minahan. Please make all of our guests welcome.
