Hi to all Members.
What a great meeting on Wednesday.
Many thanks to the Widows of Past Members for attending and participating.
Warwick Leeson is
an experienced speaker, and very passionate as an Ambassador for The White
Ribbon Organization. His message has hit many nerves, and a number of our
members will attend the Function at Eltham in November.
he 2 Ray’s as our Sargent at Arms are doing an excellent job, which is proving itself with the laughter and fellowship amongst members.
Many thanks to Paul Craig for being Chairman of the day, and also for all the work in preparing the room and organizing the wonderful meals.
The D.G.David was heard last week indicating at Rosanna, that their meal was the worst and Greensborough at the top of the list.
August is Rotary Membership Month and we need to induct some new Members at the end of this month, if possible. We do have 4 possible new members before the membership committee at present .How many can we gain before Xmas?
The Board is meeting on Tuesday 9th.August and all members will receive copies of this meeting within a week of the meeting.
The Meeting this week our Speaker is Mr.Brian Beers, former Fitzroy and Collingwood footballer, former tennis player of some note, and a Radio Commentator He will be an excellent speaker. Please support this day.
