Hi to all Members,
What a busy time this is.The following things have happened during the past 2 weeks.
- Our Board met and all matters have now been circulated to all members.
- Fellowship and Fundraising have been busy. Following on from the Station Barbecues they have collected money at the Sutherland Market on a very wet day.
- David Ling gave us an excellent talk about China and Tibet. What primitive conditions.
- Last Tuesday we had a Joint Meeting with The Rotary Club of Diamond Creek .It was well attended by both Clubs. We were made to feel welcome and we look forward to having another joint meeting with them in the New Year. The Cup Cake Challenge was a Great Success with many of our members demonstrating talents not obvious previously. We should worry about Tony Bramley as he won the Best Apron competition with a lovely lace apron? Photos have been taken and should be in this issue.Graeme Knorr decorated cakes with a very current theme. The Queen and our Prime Minister. These cakes should have won the night.Well done Graeme. Many thanks to Alan Jones and his team, and particularly Greg Adams for his Bulletin. He is a true artist.
- This week we are hear from PP Tony Bramley about the Project in Tanzania. We look forward to your talk Tony.
- Mark Sefton and his team need help for the BBQ’s at Bunnings before Xmas. Please help.
That’s all Folks.
Regards
John
