Hi to all members,

  • It is with great regret that we received the resignation of P.P.Ray Davies from Rotary in General and our Club in particular. Ray has not taken his decision lightly, particularly after exceptional service over the past 20 years plus. Many thanks Ray for your work for Rotary, your Humour at our meetings and also your Friendship to all. We hope we will see you as a guest at our Rotary functions.Thank You,Thank You.

  • Our speaker last week Mr.Sigmund Jorgensen, gave an excellent presentation of the Eltham Icon, Montsalvat. Sigmund has led an interesting life to date, which was explained in his C/V. He is also writing a Book and it will be released in 18 months time.The Fellowship Committee have organized a Breakfast at Montsalvat at the end of November. We attended the last breakfast and it was lovely.

 
  • The speaker this Wednesday is President Elect David Ling and he will be sharing with us his trip to China.
  • Next weeks meeting will be on Tuesday Evening at Ashton Manor combined with Rotary Club of Diamond Creek. Please bring your Partners as we would like a good representation from our Club and Mark Sefton’s Fellowship Committee have organized a special event for this night which you will hear more about on Wednesday.
  • We have a number of people interested in joining our Club and it would good to have more interviews for our Membership Committee.
