Rotary International President Sakuji Tanaka in this month’s Rotary Down Under magazine talks about his Rotary Moment, the moment that changed him from just being a member of a Rotary Club to becoming a Rotarian.

As of the end of September the members of the 43 Rotary Clubs in our district that I have already visited, have heard how I changed from being a RINO (Rotarian in Name Only) to being a Rotarian. They have heard me talk about the two Rotary moments that have changed my life. I’ve had many more Rotary moments and these also have made a positive change to the way I live. I’m sure that you also have
had your Rotary moments. So why don’t you at your next Rotary meeting tell the club about your Rotary Moments?

I’m pleased to tell you that there are now 26 clubs listing their Club Service reports (up from 10 last month). The report is now on line thanks to our web team. As I am writing this report for the ‘Gatt’s Gazette’, I note that so far there is $152,394.63 worth of service listed by these 26 clubs. Many of the services listed are Vocational service like the mock interviews for the secondary collage by the RC Alexandra, the RC Benalla Business Network interviews and RC Finley’s School reading project. I’m sure that all our clubs are doing a lot of service and by the time you take a look at the Club Service Project Summary report this figure will be a lot higher.
By the way, is your Club listing their service?
