Saturday 13th January was the day for a working bee at DVLC arranged by Community Chair Bill Carter.

It was a great day for a clean up and a handfull of willing workers turned a bit of work into a fun day. The results were encouraging.
Veronica organised lunch and the extra time sharing that made for good fellowship.

The working Bee at DVLC was a great success and many thanks to the willing workers, David, Margaret M, Cheryl-Lee, Margaret C, Joy and Veronica.
As by the attached photos you will see that the outside area is now in pristine condition and ready for the Students on their return to studies.
Special thanks to Veronica for the lovely Pizzas that she supplied which allowed us to have some fellowship before departing.
We, as a society, are very lucky in having an organisation such as DVLC, where people not so fortunate as ourselves have a place where they can go to learn and also feel part of the community.
