I have just returned home from our monthly Board Meeting. Among other things we discussed the current position of our Club and looked for ways to bring some new vitality to our activities.

One thing that seems to be emerging is the need to consider again a change to an evening meeting. While this no doubt does not suit everyone it seems to be the preferred option for some of our younger and newer members so it is back on the agenda. More about that soon.

Connie reported some information gained at the PEPs programme last weekend and she will be approaching individual members in her quest to have a team getting ready to carry the Club forward during her year as our President. I must say I encourage you to give consideration to her request so she can develop a strong and committed team.

This month is The Rotary Foundation month and I am planning a "Focus on Foundation" theme for the meeting on Wednesday. I hope you can make it.
