I have just returned home after a meeting setup by Graeme Knorr and the Membership Committee at which we reviewed the recent club members survey.

A summary of the survey results is very interesting and opinions on a number of issues quite divided.

Two significant things seem to emerge.

1. There is a considered but not conclusive indication that we should think about a change of meeting time and venue.

2. There seems to be a strong indication that we should choose and focus on a new community project.

I have written a specific eBulletin item about the way we plan to proceed in regard to the first item and I invite comments and ideas about a community project from the Community Committee and others for consideration.

At this week's meeting we wlecome the District Governor for his annual visit to our Club and I am hoping for a good attendance as the meeting will provide for us to hear from DG John Gatt and also to dilaogue with him about our club and Rotary in general.

These are interesting days for our club and although there are significant issues to be faced I believe we can find a way forward to new and  exciting things for the future.
