Tonight is the first of our 5th Wednesday Pub Nights. We have 20 people booked including 4 from Rotoract so should be a good night.

Ron and Joan Myerscough have been visiting Doreen Trotter on a regular basis and Ron says " She is now waiting to be transferred to Donvale in a single room. Doreen was the brightest we have seen her yesterday."

The Hardimans are due back at the weekend and PP John and VP Jerome will be acting President for the next 6 weeks or so.

Connie D'Amore and the Admin Team will continue in the Club Services role.

Betty and I are doing our 'annual pilgrimage' with the caravan from tomorrow and then I will be in China for the first 12 days of October. I am aiming for a brief travel update each week while I'm away but I have promised Betty that this will be real holiday this time.

The China visit will bring my governance role there to an end. Depending on the outcome of some discussions I hope to continue some project work and will bring news of that when I get back.
