Last week we enjoyed hearing about the work of The Edmund Rice Camps from guest speaker Mark Monahan.

As part of his presentation, Mark shared some testimonials from vulunteers and campers.

One testimonials had a quote that caught my eye. It was:

"A lesson that I have learnt through this camp, and one that I will now carry with me forever, is that as a single person, you can't change the world, but you can change the world for one person and the smallest gesture that may not seem like much to you, could turn someone's tear into a rainbow. After all, "from little things, big things grow".

What a great quote and how will it be if we think and act like this.

This weeks meeting we have David Tolputt to talk to us about "Keeping Children Safe" and I am hoping for a good turn out to hear about this important subject.

I understand that both John and Zilis Hardiman are unwell at the moment wish them a speedy recovery.
