Another week gone and a new one to come.
Tony Bramley will talk to us today about aspects of The Rotary Foundation.
We are needing to appoint a person to the Board position of Director of Rotary Foundation. This Club has contributed well to The Foundation over many years and this is our plan again this year. A major part of the Standing Committee is to keep members up to date with happenings around the world. There are excellent resources available on the RI website and other internet options.
I would love to hear from anyone who is interested in this position.
On the matter of speakers for our weekly meetings, if you know of someone who has an interesting story to tell please let me know.
We adised last week that Joy Ferguson has agreed to be the Sergeant at Arms for August, however Joy realised that she will be away some of August and has changed to September. Now we need a volunteer for August and also for future months. Any takers Please.
