The parade assembled in Poulter Ave., opposite the RSL and marched to the Memorial Park in Henry Street.
The service commenced with the reading of the poignant poem, Western Front followed by ANZAC written by War Correspondent Dr. C.E.W. Bean.
The major address was given by Lieutenant Catherine Brace, 138 Sig Sqn, which was followed by the wreath

laying ceremony.ANZAC Day is the 25th April. Some may say that this year is more important than others as this year marks the 100th Anniversary of the end of the Great War.
Others will say that every year is just as important as the last. Especially as the last of the original diggers get older.

As we honour the fallen, the returned and those currently serving, we look back at how Australia contributed to the wars of the world,and how the lives of our loved ones have influenced our society today.
It was pleasing to see the multitude of people, both young and old ,paying their respect.
Representatives of RSL, Council, Schools, Scout Groups, Schools Cadets, Probus Clubs, Rotary Clubs and individuals placed Wreaths at the Cenotaph in Memory of those that have served with dignity.
