Another Week in China

Last week saw the celebration of the 10 year anniversary of our baby care unit in the city of Xianyang.

The simple celebration was attended by local officials and various friends. This was followed by a luncheon banquet in a nearby restaurant. A good report of the occasion was given in the local newspaper and provided good publicity for a great programme.

Meanwhile I have been kept busy with some major planning for the development of a newly established local not for profit organisation to continue the work started by overseas people years ago.

Today we finalised allocation of the remainder of the money donated by RCG for Rural Doctors training and uplift. I hope to report fully on my return. I leave here on Friday and arrive home Saturday lunch time or thereabouts.
