I would like to share our excitement when my 8 year old grandson Jamie Tax won a part although non verbal, in a small 10 minute movie being produced called 'The Suitcase" He   is just so excited as it is his first attempt at solo acting. So too is his Nanna who is so proud of his achievement. Jamie attends the Victorian Youth Theatre acting classes in Templestowe.

When my 15 year old grandson Zane (Zac's brother) turned 15 his Mum suggested that  he should go and look for a job (after school) now.  He decided he wanted to be an 'extra'

He put his name down at an agency and had his profile done.  We were all very thrilled to hear that he was soon offered  an extras  part in a new mini series being produced called "Mrs Biggs" He too was quite excited and was part of the welcoming group of people when Mrs Biggs arrived at Essendon airport in the 1960's.  He was given appropriate clothes to wear and commented that he felt sorry for kids who had to wear that sort of clothing in the 60's. He wore a yellow checked tee shirt and yellow  shorts!!
