Our Projects
Kitchen Gardens
From the inception of the launch of the Childhood Obesity project, the Rotary Club of St. Lucia have run 2 initiatives to curb the problem of childhood obesity in St. Lucia.
A campaign to promote healthy eating was launched. We want to reach out to young people who are eager to plant and cultivate their own food. This was done under the supervision of parents.
Walk 2022
A "Fun Walk" was organized in recognition of child obesity with a route from Mega Massy to Pigeon Island which is 600km. This initiative was in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Barbados.
Cheese & Wine Fund Raiser
The club's second hosting of its Virtual Musical Wine and Cheese event was a success. The proceeds will help in our drive to establish a Homeless Shelter in Castries.
Rotarian members in Saint Lucia and Lamentin, Martinique joined indulged in a basket of cheese, crackers, wine, grapes and chocolates whilst enjoying online entertainment and fellowship.
Tree Planting
A tree planting project with the Rotary Club of St.Lucia working with Rotaractors and Interactors. Young trees were planted in Des Cartier, Micoud.
Free Meal Distribution
Rotarians came together to provide healthy meals to the homeless in St. Lucia.
