Rotary and Beachbum Vacations visit Dunnottar School

The Dunnottar School is a special place for differently abled children and young adults. Over the years sufficient funding has been an ongoing challenge and the Rotary Club of Saint Lucia and the Rotaract Club of Saint Lucia have for many years cooperated on small and larger projects. This time Rotary teamed up with Beachbum Vacations, a US based travel company and their charity arm Beachbum Cares. After having established a connection between Dunnottar Principal Antonia Joseph and Beachbum owner Hayley Whorell, it was agreed that a sensory pool for children with Autism would benefit the school. On their recent visit to Saint Lucia the travel agents from Beachbum Vacations visited Dunnottar on Friday April 31, 2017 to make the presentation and for a short period play with the children.
