Fellow Rotarians

As the President of the Rotary Club, I am excited to welcome all members and our community to the Environment Month. This April, we stand at a pivotal moment, recognizing our collective responsibility and power to foster a sustainable future.

The dedication of this month to environmental awareness and action reflects our commitment to Rotary International’s area of focus on supporting the environment. It underscores our acknowledgment that environmental stewardship is not just a choice, but a necessity for the health and well-being of our communities and the planet.

This Environment Month, we are called to action. Together, we will embark on projects and initiatives that aim to make a significant positive impact on our environment. From planting trees that will grow to provide shade and clean air, to cleaning up our beaches and parks, every action counts. We will engage in educational programs to spread awareness about the importance of recycling, conservation, and sustainable practices, ensuring that our efforts extend beyond this month and become a part of our daily lives.

Our club's commitment to the environment is a reflection of the Rotary ideal of "Service Above Self." As we participate in these activities, let us remember that we are not only serving our community but also setting an example for future generations. It is through our actions today that we can hope to leave a healthier, more sustainable world for those who follow.

I encourage each one of you to actively participate in the Environment Month activities. Let's use this opportunity to come together as a community, to learn, to share, and to act. Your involvement and enthusiasm are crucial to the success of our environmental initiatives. Together, we can make a difference.

Let's make this Environment Month a turning point in our journey towards environmental sustainability. Let us be the change we wish to see in the world.

Yours in Rotary,

President Everton Sealey
