On the First of July, the Rotary Club of Paramaribo, one of the four Rotary clubs in Suriname, welcomed its new board. Nessa Brahim now leads the board, succeeding Anand Gajapersad who concluded a highly successful year marked by various fundraising activities, fellowship events, and numerous community projects. This year's Rotary presidential theme, "Create Lasting Impact" emphasizes cooperation and the power of unity in supporting communities. The new leadership aims to harness this unity and human connection to make a positive impact both locally and internationally.
