On Saturday, October 26th, we held our annual HealthWalk with an incredible turnout, as participants came together to support several meaningful causes.

1. End Polio Now: October 24th marked World Polio Day, a day when we emphasize Rotary's commitment to eradicating polio worldwide. Through vaccination campaigns, advocacy, and partnerships, Rotary has helped reduce polio cases by 99.9% globally. Our walk highlighted this ongoing fight, as we continue working towards a polio-free world.

2. Breast Cancer Awareness: October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we partnered with the Inner Wheel Paramaribo to show our support and raise awareness about the importance of early detection. Together, we stand with those affected by breast cancer.

3. Children's Obesity Prevention Program (COPP): Within District 7030, tackling childhood obesity is an important priority. Through initiatives like our health walk, we emphasize the importance of physical activity and healthy lifestyles for our youth, helping to create a healthier future for all.

The health walk was a wonderful success, bringing the community together with a shared commitment to these causes.
