On Thursday 23 June RCPR held its Handing-Over and Appreciation Night in De Waag. During this evening, fellows were heartily thanked for their overall contribution and support to the projects carried out during the year.
On this evening, our fellow Erwin Muntslag was also thanked for his many years of commitment to the club by appointing him as an Honorary member. Erwin, who also previously led the club as president, is seen as an excellent example of Rotary values and standards. His finesse for protocol will continue to be used within the club.
Also, on this evening the leadership of the club was officially transferred to the incoming board, led by fellow Agnes Moensie. This board will take over the responsibility from the outgoing board starting 1 July.
The evening was then concluded with a delicious dinner, where there was a lot of laughter and catching up done between the fellows. All in all, a very good night.
