The Greener Together Project, a joint Environmental initiative of all four Rotary Clubs in Suriname, organized a teambuilding on August 18, with participation of all 12 companies, 15 schools and 3 Ministries.
One of the teambuilding exercises was to perform a screen play and the team with the best play was selected as the winner by a Jury consisting of Nancy Del Prado, Manoj Parsan, Els Dams, Diana Halfhide (all board members of the 4 Rotary Clubs), and AG Steven Tjin A Djie.
President Els Dams of the Rotary Club of Paramaribo Residence had the honour to announce the winning team, and Rotarian Alex van Petten handed over gift vouchers to the winning team.
Rotarian Alex also announced the launch of the Rotary Eco Friendly Challenge - and urged the schools to participate. With this program the schools are invited to submit a proposal to reduce single used plastic. Final submission date is November.
The best proposal will be selected by a Jury of experts and will be announced in December.
