📢 Promoting Healthy Futures: Tackling Childhood Obesity Together!
The Rotary Club of Paramaribo Residence, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, has been working tirelessly to combat childhood obesity across Suriname. Over the past two years, teachers nationwide have been trained to raise awareness and integrate obesity prevention strategies in their schools.
Today, we took another step forward by equipping 7 schools to take action! Teachers will now measure group BMIs, apply their training, and evaluate the results in 4 months. Together, we are empowering children to lead healthier lives.
