Your Place - the role of social enterprise in creating meaningful pathways to recovery

Paul Latour is a social entrepreneur and community builder based in Victoria, BC. He is currently the General Manager of Your Place Victoria, a social enterprise by Our Place Society focused on creating sustainable businesses that generate meaningful, living-wage employment for people emerging from long-term addictions recovery.

Paul previously founded HeroWork, where he mobilized thousands of volunteers and partnered with hundreds of businesses to transform charity infrastructure across Greater Victoria.

Throughout his career, Paul has focused on the power of community, collaboration, and purposeful enterprise to create lasting social impact. His current work is centred on building an ecosystem of businesses that help people move from recovery into meaningful work, greater independence, and long-term stability.
