Salvation Army Postal Carrier Food Drive

On Saturday, May 14th, 2016, The Salvation Army will be conducting a Postal Carrier Food Drive.  The Postal Carriers will be collecting food as they do their normal routes, and bringing in back to a truck at their distribution center.  Once all the carriers have loaded the truck, the Salvation Army will be driving the truck to the Salvation Army building at 2 6th Street in Old Orchard Beach.

The Salvation Army is asking for our help to unload the truck at the Salvation Army Building.  We will need as many people as we can get to unload the truck and place the food containers in the Gymnasium.  They have requested at least 8 people, but the more people we get, the faster we can get this done.

We anticipate the truck to be there by 5:45 or so, and they want to have it unloaded and returned to U-Haul by 7:00 so they do not incur another day's Rental.
