Committee Meetings after todays meeting:  Charity, Membership (to set up a Fireside Chat); Mentoring Program(see below)

Elias Fletcher from Biddeford High School was at our meeting.  He met with all those who are willing to serve as "mentors".  I hope we can get 10 members to do this.

Biddeford High School would like to have 10 members of our club to serve as "mentors" or really discussion leaders.  There would be 2 Rotarians and 25-30 students in each group.  The sessions would be from 10:15 to 11:00 on Mondays for 5 Mondays beginning on March 21 and skipping April 18 and finishing on April 25.

The following would be the areas discussed:

1.  Introduction and history of how the mentor got to where they are today.
2.  Personal Finance - Bills, Loans, Credit Cards...
3.  Getting a Job - Skills to work on, What are employers looking for, how to turn your summer job into a career by either moving up or building resume...
4.  Local Opportunity - What are some things that students might not realize are advantages to staying local when looking for jobs or starting businesses?
5.  Advise - what advise do you have to pass on to seniors that are about to either enter college or the work force full time.
