President Joe:
  • Asked Bernice to introduce visiting Rotarians and Guests:
    • Welcome Tyler who is here visiting with his father Matt S.
    • Heather brought her daughter Chloe to work with her today for Bring My Daughter To Work Day.
    •            Welcome to Tyler and Chloe.
The winning 50/50 ticket was pulled by our young visitor Tyler – winner Tammy. She donated the $26 winnings to Red Ribbon.

Sargent-At-Arms Matt S.
HAPPY DOLLARS
  • Matt S is happy to have his son join him today.
  • Bill is happy to announce his daughter was engaged over the weekend.
  • Luci is happy about being able to talk with her friends and colleagues.
  • Dr. Joe is happy because for his birthday, his wife surprised him with a train ride in Brunswick and an overnight in a B&B. It was a most pleasant birthday.
  • Heather gave a happy dollar for her daughter Cloe, who was turning 8 in a couple weeks.  Matt S asked if she had bought her daughter a pony for her special birthday.
  • Conrad was happy for his 37th wedding anniversary and remarked the reception was held at The Hut (The Old Colonial).
  • Laurie was happy about playing golf last week.
  • Jim G. was really happy that he played golf at Pebble Beach last week.
FINES
  • President Joe – Fined for not wearing a colorful outfit this week. When asked if the rumor of him gardening naked, President Joe proudly stated, ‘Yes I do.” That was another fine.
  • Bernice was fined not being the President this year.
  • Sarah was fined for taking way too long at the hairdresser.
  • Paul, Denis and Jim M were fined for all having thinning hair and seated together at the same table.
  • On the topic of hair, Mark N was fined for going to the barber shop, walking past Matt S and not waving. That’ll be two bucks, one for not waving and the other for having enough hair to go to the barber.
  • Heather was fined a buck because she should have given a Happy Dollar for the purchase of her new house.
  • Bill – you obviously are trying to mimic President Joe with your colorful shorts, that’s a buck.
  • Matt S asked his son Tyler to look around the room and pick out the one person who is having way too much fun. He selected Luci. Another dollar fine for that Luci!
  • Scooters are $2.00
