Week-in-Review 10/14/2015

Bill began the meeting with the pledge and remarked how nice it was to actually have a flag. Lucie led us in the 4 Way Test and Jim A. provided the Invocation.
 
Lucie announced that we had no visitors this week but she shared what an awesome vacation she had and that she was glad to be back. Glad to be back from vacation?
 
Bill invited Karen and Heather McLean to come up to welcome Heather back to our club. Heather was given her pin, paperwork, and of course, a $100 raffle ticket to sell! Welcome back Heather!
 
Steve won the 50/50 and donated the $20 to the scholarship fund.
 
Joe, Karen and Keith were welcomed up to collect Happy Dollars and dole out fines.
 
Happy Dollars included:
  • Frank D. for a wonderful vacation.
  • Mark N. for being back from vacation.
  • Lucie – again, rub it in – for a great vacation.
  • Jim A. gave $2 to plug the concert at TA on 10/24.
 
Fines included:
  • Jim A. for his SBS ‘paper envelope’ wallet. “Doesn’t everyone use these?”
  • Bill for the article in the Journal about fundraising.
  • Lucie for her very informative quote about the Alzheimer’s Walk. You need to work on that for next year Lucie!
  • Chuck for asking if the Sunset Club was a breakfast meeting – that was funny!
  • Heather for being back in the club.
  • Keith was fined for announcing that he would not fine Bill this week. Who does that?
  • Bill for advertising SBS at the meeting.
  • Lucie for her great 4 way test.
  • Keith was fined $5 for winning the 50/50 last week and not giving any back.
  • Karen for referring to Joe as #2. Don’t ask.
  • Josh wasn’t there but would have been fined for not picking up kegs. Maybe next week? If anyone sees Josh, please tell him to get the darn kegs!
  • Ray for sitting at a table all alone. Awww.
  • Paul for his new hearing aids. Say again?
