Rotary - BINGO

Fellow Rotarians,

 

Our 7th Annual Bingo fundraiser is approaching fast.  Only 11 more days to sell your tickets.  If you have sold your tickets you can bring the money with you on Wednesday where I will be more than happy to take it off your hands.  Checks can be made payable to Biddeford-Saco Rotary. We only accept cash and/or checks for this event.  If you have sold your tickets but are not going to be at either of the next two meetings, I will need you to send an e-mail to my home e-mail at villemaire@maine.rr.com or call my cell at 286-5474 & leave a message with the amount of money you have collected.  I only have a short period of time to get the completed paperwork into the state to stay in compliance with our license.  I will be on vacation at that time and will not have access to my work e-mail.

 

I need your help in obtaining 3 more sponsors.  I have secured $1,100 so far but we need $1,400 to cover the prize money. If we don't get the sponsors, the money will have to come out of ticket sales.

 

There will also be a volunteer sign-up sheet circulating on Wednesday to help at this event.  If you volunteer to help, unfortunately, you will not be able to play (state law).  We need 2 volunteers to sell the 50/50 tickets from 8:00 a.m. until 9:45ish.We have to draw the winner before the Bingo games start at 10:00.  The other volunteers(4) will be selling the game packages (on-site training will be available) in the beginning & throughout the event as well as verifying that the winning cards are actually winners(by calling out the # listed in the free space on the card).

 

The Rochambeau has a concession area that has food and also dobbers ($1).  Everything you need for a fun filled morning of Bingo.  Don't forget to bring your "lucky charm" to place near your cards to up your chances of winning!
