The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital’s specialty license plate campaign. The State of Maine require us to sign up 2,000 Maine residents with active vehicle registration before they agree to produce a plate that will generate much needed funds for Maine’s only children’s hospital. We have 1,100 people signed up already and I’ve been busy presenting to various companies, schools and organizations about why this plate will be a game-changer in terms of the programs and services we’d be able to provide the 38,000 pediatric patients who come through our doors each year.
