Alzheimer’s Walk

On September 19 the Alzheimer’s Association is hosting a Walk to END Alzheimer’s locally in York Beach. The two mile walk begins at the York Beach Ball Field at 9:30 AM that morning. We have created a team (Biddeford & Saco Rotary Club) for all Rotarians who would like to join us. We are requesting that each person who signs up pledges to raise at least $100 for the cause. Thursday, July 23^rd, 6-8pm: Walk Kick-Off Auction, American Legion, York, ME. Enjoy the entertainment, refreshments and great auction items to benefit 2015 Maine Beaches Area Walk to End Alzheimer’s!

Thursday, July 30^th, 5-8pm: Join Sentry Hill’s Team for a night of bowling at Bowl-A-Rama in Portsmouth, NH. $10 per person, includes bowling and shoes. Contact Ellen Hall at Sentry Hill at 207-363-5116 for more information.

Saturday, August 15^th, 7pm: The Press Gang Benefit Concert, Star Theater – Kittery Community Center, 120 Rogers Road, Kittery, ME. Irish instrumental trio based in Portland; tickers: $20, $15 for seniors and students. All proceeds to benefit 2015 Maine Beaches Area Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Saturday, August 29^th, all day: Shop for a Cause, Macy’s. Purchase Shop for a Cause ticker for $5 and receive 25% off purchase at all Macy’s stores. Proceeds from ticket sales to benefit 2015 Maine Beaches Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
