Club Meeting October 4, 2016
 
Opening and Welcome:  President Jackie Guzie opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance and the recitation of the Rotary Four-Way Test. Scott Seabury gave the invocation and led the club singing of “God Bless America”.
 
Members Present: Dale Baker, Joe Blake, Gayle Demko, Jed Dery, Frank DiGennaro, Guy Fortunato, Jackie Guzie, Gail Handley, Greg Heineman, Richard Kisiel, Luis Lee, Robert Lowell, Anthony Migliozzi, Cat Morrow, Jack Muska, Paul Pace, Ken Pascoe, Ray Perleoni, and Scott Seabury (19/35  54%).  
 
Guests: Natalie Donais-former Windsor Rotarian & prospect sponsored by Bob Lowell; Susan Paneccasico- guest of Greg Heineman; Cheryl Demko-Morello- guest of Gayle Demko.
 
Announcements/Program: In lieu of a formal speaker, the club had several announcements:
 
-Ray Perleoni and Greg Heineman reiterated the need for member volunteers for the October 18th Steak and Lobster Dinner at the Fox Hollow Gun Club. Also importantly, all planned attendees and their orders specifically for Lobsters need to be received by Friday October 7th.
 
-Ken Pascoe mentioned that the oven mitts from the Chicken BBQ are no longer usable. He asked members to purchase some quickly if they come across any, and the club will reimburse their cost.
 
-Jackie Guzie announced that next Tuesday Oct 11th’s program will include the formal induction of Cat Morrow, and honors to the first two Rotary Students of the Month of this school year.
 
Birthdays and Anniversaries: None
 
Blue Ticket Winners:  Joe Blake had the winning blue ticket, with sides won by Gayle Demko and Guy Fortunato.
 
Queen of Hearts:  Paul Pace had the winning ticket, but did not select the queen. Next week’s drawing $692+.
 
Adjournment: Jackie Guzie adjourned the meeting and Scott Seabury led “My Country ‘Tis of Thee” as the closing song.
