Announcements: Vice President Roumas made several announcements:
- Welcomed Jackie Hemond as a new member.

- Golf Fundraising. Jon is encouraging members to commit to collecting at least one gift certificate for the raffle.  Wine collection will begin July 16.  Player registration is a bit slow and new teams to the tournament are welcomed.

PROGRAM:  West Suffield Congregational Church is a small congregation with a huge heart.  Liz saw a need and the congregation welcomed the challenge and for the past 6 years this monthly food distribution program has bloomed and flourished.  A five person committee oversees this 100% volunteer supported activity and the future fundraisers are in the planning stages. The food is provided at low cost by Foodshare with local farmers donating fresh items for the second Thursday of each month event.  Those in need must be a CT resident to receive these items; volunteers from their church are plentiful but Crossroads would not turn down any help offered!  We were all inspired by the kindness and caring our speakers demonstrated; they truly have made Suffield a better place and we better people by sharing their love.

Blue Ticket Winners: Congratulations to the Blue ticket winner Gordon; with sides won by Frank and Roger.

Queen of Hearts:  Gordon had the winning red ticket but did not select the Queen of Hearts. Total winning pot now stands at $435+.

Birthdays and Anniversaries: None

Adjournment sans closing song.

Next week’s meeting (July 17) – Lester Smith of the Historical Committee will provide interesting morsels of Suffield History for our pleasure and amazement.
