Opening and Welcome:  President Dick Kisiel opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance and the recitation of the Rotary Four-Way Test.  Scott Seabury provided invocation led the club singing of “God Bless America”.
Members Present: Dale Baker, Gayle Demko, Jed Dery,  Frank DiGennaro, Gail Handley, Greg Heineman,  Richard Kisiel, Jon Kozloski, Luis Lee, Robert Lowell, Don Miner, Jack Muska, Jay Presser, Don Rawling, Charles Roumas, Scott Seabury, Gordon Stagg, Thomas Sullivan and Nancy Viggiano.  (19/33….57.5%).
Guests: Linda Stevenson, guest of Robert Lowell.
Announcements: President Kisiel made several announcements:
- Suffield by the River’s Liz Samson thanks the Suffield Rotary for funding the purchase of the podium.   
- Yard Goats social: the thirty tickets have been reserved and members may begin paying for the tickets next Tuesday.  The cost remains at $13 per ticket.
- The Rotary was asked to assist with a Loaves and Fishes sandwich meal production yesterday, Monday April 23.  Loaves and Fishes provide a meal for 80 – 100 nightly along with an additional breakfast on the weekends.  Thanks to Karen & Clark Mason, Dale Baker, Bob Lowell and Kate McClusker with her two Interact students for their assistance yesterday.  In actuality only two volunteers were needed and future requests will be vetted.
- Jay Presser announced the Rotary International collection will begin next month.  Rotary has been awarded a 100% rating for utilizing funds collected for charitable needs.  The suggested member donation is $100.
- Dick attended a President-elect meeting and a point was made to consider inviting spouses as members of the Rotary.  This would enhance the number of members who may wish to participate in service projects.
PROGRAM:  Bob Lowell and Linda Stevenson have elected to spend two years traveling about the US.  Bob talked about their trip thru the South traveling along the Gulf Coast this past winter.  While staying in various campgrounds they were impressed with the warmth and hospitality presented by the Campground Hosts.  And they have agreed to take on the job of Campground Host at Pike’s Peak this May!  We can continue to follow their adventures at www.Where are  We wish them ‘happy trails’.
Blue Ticket Winners: Congratulations to the Blue ticket winner Bob Lowell with a side won by Linda Stevenson.
Queen of Hearts:  Jack Muska had the winning red ticket but did not select the Queen of Hearts. Total winning pot now stands at $306+.
Birthdays and Anniversaries:  Jay Presser thanked the group for his anniversary flowers.
