Suffield Rotary Youth Conference

Interact President Paul Armata briefly discussed his fantastic opportunity he received from our club, i.e., being selected to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Conference at Springfield College. Paul was among approximately 150 students at the conference, truly enjoyed the learning experience, and was selected along with 9 other students to attend the Rotary National conference.

At the national conference, Paul met many other students both domestic and international and from many different nationalities. It was a very rewarding experience Paul will always cherish. The theme of the conference was 'how technology is playing a role in today's environment". There were numerous speakers from technology firms presenting their thoughts and opinions. Based on Paul's handling of tonights meeting, he has definitely picked up Leadership skills along the way.

Talking with a few members, we were wondering why doesn't our club sponsor someone every year. A great way to demonstrate the importance of Rotary and influence talented students about Rotary.
