SPEAKER:  The District Governor visits each of the 59 clubs which make up District 7890 and Dave Mangs applauds Suffield for their Interact Club relationship and for having a succession plan in place for next year.

Dave’s theme message is “ROTARY MAKING A DIFFERENCE”.  He finds Rotarians are special as they understand it is time to “give back”. Rotarians have time, talent and treasure helping their community.  Rotary benefits local business through networking and referrals, social events and service projects.  He encourages each Rotarian to inspire 10 people to consider becoming a Rotarian, and invite 3 to a meeting with the expectation that 1 of the three will become a member.  Dave would like to see each club target growth this year along with expansion of their youth programs.

The summary of Dave’s speech is attached and is filled with confidence and enthusiasm for our District’s membership.  It was a privilege to hear Dave’s inspiration and motivation expressed.
Dave presented Dale Baker with a citation of recognition for his many years of service to the community as a Rotarian.  We all applaud Dale’s support and participation with this club!
