President Jackie Arguso opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance and recitation of the Rotary Four-Way Test.

Luis Lee gave the invocation in his Native American language. President Jackie led the membership in singing "God Bless America."

President Jackie announced that club members will receive ten tickets to sell for the September 15 chicken barbecue.  Dick Kisiel has extra tickets if needed. Club members should submit all funds from the ticket sales to Dick.

President Jackie welcomed and introduced our guests, Emily Masi and her parents Bill and Kim Masi.  After dinner, Emily gave a report on her experience at the Rotary Youth Leadership Academy, which she attended last June.  Emily's remarks focused on her new understanding of leadership and the different levels of leadership that a person can provide in a group experience.  She will apply her experience and new knowledge about leadership at she enters her junior year at Suffield High School. Emily plans to attend eventually college but is undecided about a specific school, but she is considering an eventual career in education. She thanked the club for the opportunity to participate at RYLA.

Club members contributed $32.00 in "Happy Dollars," which largely recognized the club members' appreciation of Emily Masi's excellent presentation. 

Ken Pascoe held the winning ticket in the weekly drawing but failed to select the queen of hearts.  The drawing next week will be worth $426 plus one dollar for every club member present and any extra tickers sold.  Ken requested that  volunteers report to the golf club Friday by 7:00 a.m. and thanked everyone tor their support in planning the Packard Golf Tournament.

President Jackie led the club membership in singing "America" and adjourned the meeting.
